Description:
T5 LED Tube is designed to maximize energy efficiency. This replacement light for fluorescent tube represents the new generation of energy efficient lamps. Solid aluminum chassis and polycarbonate casing ensures to the lamp completely unprecedented durability, but in spite the lamp does not weight a lot. Thanks to the internal switching mode power supply which produces continuous DC current there will be no further problems with flickering lights and you do not have to worry about phasing the lamps for other reasons than than current draw. Lamp turns on immediately when it gets power to itself, and it will continue light instantly even if the environment would be damn cold.
LED lamp is suitable for both new applications and for renovation of old properties. In all simplicity this is an easy task to install the lamp by yourself to light your kitchen work surface. All you need is two screws and a screwdriver, C2 power cord and 5 minutes of your life. Chaining takes place with the supplied spacers to get two lamps connected to power one after another. If the distance is longer you will need a cord in between the lamps. The lamp also comes with a cap that allows you to hide an unused link connector. The package also includes supply cable tail and metal mounting brackets for fixed installations. In our selection you will find each of the cold white and warm white light represented in 60cm, 90cm and 120cm lengths.
In electronic sense this lamp as a device does not create inductive reactant (XL) into electric grid thus renders the need to install capacitor packs for correcting inductive apparent power while installing lamps. Apparent power itself will not produce anything useful besides spin your kWh meter according to apparent power RMS power. You can admire this reactive phenomena with traditional fluorescent lighting tubes. This problem does not exist with our LED lamps.

Well, very briefly, this works almost everywhere installed in dry areas. Thanks to non flickering light these can also be used, for example in the roof of sports halls, TV studios, as well as in special applications such as providing light to industrial automation line with machine vision for object recognition. Non flickering light also creates pleasant light for human eyes. While shooting video you wont get flickering video because of the stable light source apart from convenient gas discharge and fluorescent tube lamps which actually flicker 3000 times in a minute (with a frequency of 50Hz) which will cause some of the frames turn out completely dark in photography or video shoot.
In industrial field our LED light also provides increased safety thanks to non flickering light. For example lathe that spins 3000 revolutions per minute looks like it is completely still with fluorescent lamp or gas discharge light. Despite what the eye actually says in reality you really do not want to touch object that spins st the speed of 3000 RPM. Same phenomena repeats itself every time when speed is increased 3000 RPM. If the speed is a bit higher or lover than 3000 RPM the object looks like it is spinning very slowly. Structure:
Chassis is made of aluminum which also works as a heat sink. LED light is diffused by tube like cover made from polycarbonate. To ease up service the whole structure can be dismantled into peaces. End caps can be removed from aluminum profile by pulling after releasing locking pin by pressing it with a key or similar object. Power supply is located at the lower part of profile and in case of service it can be extracted from within just by pulling it out. Power is fed to the lamp from either one of the C2 power sockets which are located on both ends of the lamp. Structure from optical perspective:
Related to lighting design directs light exactly where it is needed. None of the light shines where you do not need it. Thus, the entire lamp can be kept small, because the lamp does not need optical components for directing light. Because of this directed light projection working area will actually be lit with up to 30% greater amount of light compared to if you would have convenient fluorescent lamp in a same spot, because fluorescent lamp emits light in every direction and not all of it can be diverted into desired working area.

Lets compare the purchase price for regular fluorescent lamp for starters. Basic fluorescent lamp cost approximately 10€ for peace. Lets not discuss about the cost of light fixture, ballast and starters which easily go over 40€ and higher. Let us estimate that fluorescent light will last for 10000h until the thing requires replacing (yet again lets not take in account lamp starters and ballasts + crippled lamp bases). Electricity cost is on average 0,15€/ kWh in year 2011 and off we go on calculating our example.
Lets count the cost for 115cm T5 HO and HE fluorescent lamps for their whole life.

In order to compare the figures so let us use 50000h as a time figure.

These calculations apply only to the lamp and electricity expenses. If you want to be more specific then you will need to buy a housing for fluorescent lamp, which consumes sometimes lamp starters and ballasts to state of exchange in order to make it function gain. And of course for all of these changes you need to pay for your electrician, and the price for a man on top ofladders is usually around 45€ / h. All calculations here included VAT 23% in prices.
In conclusion buy LED lamp and save hefty amount of money.
The more of convenient fluorescent lamps you replace with our LED tube lamp then greater is the value you will save. You can think of that use of the LED lamp is 80-70% cheaper than traditional fluorescent lamp. You get yours back already in 1-3 years in a form of shrinking electricity bill!
